Becky Pallone has been teaching early elementary school for 18 years. She spent 15 years in first grade and has been teaching kindergarten for the last three years. She is a mom to 3 daughters (6th grader, 4th grader and 1st grader). Becky began her structured literacy journey when her middle daughter was struggling to read in Kindergarten and 1st grade. She went to a LETRs training and realized that her instruction needed to change for her students and most of all for her daughter. From them, she’s been on a journey to read and find out as much as possible to help dyslexic children like her daughter and to better the instructional practices in her own classroom.
