Court is a dedicated and passionate educator with a strong commitment to continuous professional growth. With a diverse teaching background that spans multiple states and settings, including California, South Carolina, and Camden, New Jersey, Court brings a unique perspective and a strong commitment to student success. They have a BA in English, with a minor in Medieval studies and a MAT in Secondary Education. In 2021, they earned their National Board Certification, a testament to their master teaching abilities and reflective practice. Currently, Court is pursuing a Reading Specialist Certification at Rowan University, in the pursuit of diving deeper into understanding the complexities of reading and how best to support students in their literacy journeys. In their current district they have consistently illustrated their collaborative and organizational skills by participating on multiple ELA curriculum committees, and most recently by coaching over 30 colleagues in effective Science of Reading based curriculum implementation as a special assignment during the 24-25 school year.
