Liana Zalutsky is a second-grade teacher at Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She got her start in education through Teach For America and taught in public schools for four years. Liana cares deeply about designing literacy instruction that is both research-aligned and joyful, and has a knack for instilling her students with both firm foundational skills and a genuine love for reading. Liana loves diving into different methods of effective instruction, and has most recently become credentialed in EBLI and thinkSRSD. In her spare time, Liana can most frequently be found reading—her goal is to give her students the skills to become just as obsessed with books as she is!
